Hitler and Modi

Election 2019 – Opinion

More than half of Congress seats came from Kerala, Punjab, Tamil Nadu. First two have strong state leadership and third has a lucky alliance.

The 2019 result is a clear cut rejection of Rahul Gandhi. Majority didn’t see him as a PM face, many did not want to accept a dynastic leader who got the position of party president handed out to him without doing anything. I personally, would judge a person on their behavior and actions rather than their family but people clearly hate the privileged background.

The argument – “If not Modi then who? Not Rahul for sure” really stuck with people. A huge portion of BJP voters voted for Modi because they don’t see an alternative. In reality, the Indian elections aren’t meant to be a presidential contest of PM. I often told in my videos again and again that we should vote for the best MP. But the whole 2 million of us combined only make up 0.1% of India’s population. I hope at least some people understood and voted for the best MP. But majority of Indians voted for the PM face, not the MP. And this is why we end up with MPs like Pragya Thakur.

I will continue to promote my reasoning to vote for the best MP. In my opinion, It is dangerous to make a propaganda-personality contest of two people to rule over a billion people. But it looks like majority is still going to vote for a PM face for now.

And that is why Rahul Gandhi must resign and let the party democratically elect a capable, new leader. The baggage of dynast will never go away from him and people are not willing to see a dynast be the PM anymore

Why would Modi Lose ?

Would Modi lose 2019? Why would Modi lose?
Here are my reasons:

1. India is not Gujarat. Muslim is not a cuss word nor Pakistan the most important issue. The Gujarat model of winning elections wouldn’t work in India.

2. Modi won 2014 because of the corruption of UPA2. It had a fair share of vote against UPA 2.

3. Modi’s campaign of 2014 was of hope. In 2019, it is of insecurity and fear.

4. In 2019, Modi isn’t even uttering his poll promises of 2014. It shows how massively he failed.

5. Think about this. You will find a lot of people who voted for BJP in 2014 but disappointed and voting against BJP in 2019. Would you find any one who voted against BJP in 2014 voting for them in 2019?

6. In 2014, Modi had an intellectual cover of people like Arun Shourie, Subramaniam Swamy’s, Justice Bhagwati, Arvind Panagriya, Rajesh Jain etc. It brought in the Pro- Development voters. None around in 2019.

7. In 2014, it was BJP. In 2019, it is Modi. And hardcore sanghis hate it.

8. In 2014, Amit Shah wasn’t as strong. Rajnath, Sushma, Gadkari provided cover of wisdom. 2019 is all about Shah and Modi. The duo draw a negative reaction even amongst BJP voters.

9. The election speeches of 2019 are cheap and have touched a new low. It draws away conservative voters.

10. Modi is not India. Gandhi is loved and Godse is a criminal. And Modi couldn’t change that.

On May 23, I just hope we all smile, either way. And talk people, poverty, jobs and growth. Not Muslim, Pakistan etc. This is an election in India. Not about Pakistan.
